I have wanted for some time to write for Silver Band and finally have achieved it with my 'Cheltenham Rag'. There may be a bit of a theme here - Cheltenham Symphony, Cotswold Songs.... I think the new work captures perfectly the atmosphere of Cheltenham on a sunny day, just like the first time I ever visited here. And the Promenade was an area for promenaders in Victoriam times. I can see them swinging along to my Cheltenham Rag. God bless Scott Joplin!
Five O'Clock Blues & Evening Shadows is a new publication of recently composed pieces for piano solo written in a more 'Jazzy' style.

Ten Little Piano Duets
I am delighted to have recently completed a book of ten piano duets aimed at the beginning pianist, approx. grade 1 standard for both parts.
All pieces are in a five-finger position.
I am very pleased to say that the study scores (A5) for my two existing symphonies are now available.
I have just completed a new work for clarinet in A and piano.
"Here lie I and my four daughters
killed by drinking Cheltenham's waters"
The first half of a rhyme said to be in a Gloucestershire graveyard.
My setting of this short tragi/comic verse is for SATB solo voices as a motet. But would also work for SATB choir. A capella. It is dedicated to Viva la Musica.
What do you play when you are a pianist and your left hand is recovering from something?
This was the inspiration for my new book of five studies written for the right hand alone. Designed to develop technique whilst having fun.
