When I entered music college piano was my first study and classical guitar second study. However I had to make the serious decision of dropping guitar as long nails and the piano keyboard did not mix well! This meant that I was then free to study composition. Every cloud has a silver lining!
The guitar is a remarkably difficult instrument to write for so it helped that I had had some experience of it. I am quite pleased with this Sonatina with its Spanish sounds combined with contemporary harmonies and harmonics.
